I started this drawing back in 2009. After a few weeks of continuously working on this, I just quit working on it. I was annoyed with it and just wanted to work on something else. Well it ended up sitting in my closet for 2 and a half years. Finally, one day I decided to pull it out and try and finish it. A few weeks later, I finished it! This is definitely the largest, most detailed, pencil drawing I have done to date. Thank GOD I'm finally finished! I think I'm going to frame this
Materials: Pencil on paper Size: 18" x 24"
PS: If you are in the California, Bay Area and you would be interested in purchasing the original drawing, let me know! Because I would gladly sell this... for the right price of course
It is really annoying sometimes and you don't feel like working on some things sometimes. But I'm really glad you took this back out and decided to finish it. It doesn't matter how long it took (it used to take artist that, if not longer, to create greatness). You are AMAZING with pencil. I really love your values, they're so crisp and sharp. and make it look like a black and white snapshot from the movie itself. I love the textures!!! The hairy chest, the ripples of the water, even the steam. You paid very good attention to detail and I really enjoy this. Overall composition: spectacular.
